Christmas Bazar and "Christmas box"

On 15^th December we made a Christmas bazar in our school. This year we sold handmade candlesticks. The prizes were symbolic so everyone could afforded it and in this way we get a lot of money for the foster’s home. After that we had a Christmas event in the auditorium. Each class had to prepare something – a song, sketch or a dance. It was really funny and there were some really good performances.  The whole time I was feeling really good, this event remembered me that Christmas is coming !!! J

5th December The International Volunteer Day

 The International Volunteer Day was on 5^th December. We celebrated it in the auditorium of our school. There were certificates given to those who are participating in European Voluntary Corps – Veliko Tarnovo.  I felt really proud when I saw my certificate and especially when I read: “The volunteer has contributed to the organization and participated in voluntary services in the local community”.

International AIDs Day

On 1^st December my classmates and I sold our newspaper J This as you all know is the International AIDs day and our newspapers were about this. We sold them for 50stotinki and we sold not that many. I was really disappointed because the students weren’t interested about this…  There was also and a competition which was about the virus. There were two teams and questions asked .

European Year of Volunteering

On 17^th November we went to Sofia again. But this time with the International volunteer corps on meeting for all of the volunteer organizations in Bulgaria. The Bulgarian red cross was there too and they made a simulation and evacuated the whole national palace of Culture and showed how they act in this kind of situations. It was really cool and interesting. There were also many presentations and educational games. I just loved it J

Local Project

On 23^rd November we started the making of our new newspaper. The main theme is about AIDS. We are going to sell it on 1^st December , which is the International AIDs Day. This time we made it very quick and without arguing J We stick a condom on each paper. We had all kinds of information about AIDS. While reading the information I was shocked from the number of people who are suffering from this. So Be Safe !!!

Slavi's show

11.11.11 Finally! We went to the show. It wasn’t which I was expecting. The studio was so much smaller and broken :D Yes there were so many broken things which you can’t see on the TV. And there were a competition called “Beautiful and Smart”. There are different things which the girls had to do. It was not that bad but it was boring and the girls were definitely not that smart.:D . But the feeling was really great to see one of the most famous people face to face J

Sofia

11.11.11 We were finally in Sofia. We went to the Central Mall to eat. Some of us preferred to go shopping but my classmates and I went to a sushi bar to eat. After that we went to a museum. It was pretty boring , because there were only rocks and some kind of stones which I have already seen in other museum so for me it wasn’t that interesting.
